Chocolate Rice Cereal Bars
Ingredients:
- 4 c Puffed Rice Cereal
- .5 c Shredded Coconut desiccated if you could find it
- 5 Medjool Dates
- 2 tbsp Cacao Powder
- 4.5 oz Coconut Oil
- 4.25 oz Honey
Instructions:
- Line a slice baking tray with with greaseproof paper.
- Place rice cereal and coconut into a bowl.
- Place dates in a food processor, chop on high for 20 seconds or until finely diced.
- In a small saucepan melt coconut oil, cacao, honey and dates over low heat, stir for 5 minutes.
- Pour honey mixture into bowl of rice cereal and stir to combine.
- Place the mixture into the baking dish and press evenly into pan.
- Place in fridge for one hour or until set, cut into slices.
