Simple Garlicky Asparagus Spears
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Asparagus washed, destemmed, and cut into bite sized pieces
- 2 tbsp Coconut Oil or butter if not on AIP
- 5 cloves Garlic minced or crushed (more or less to taste)
- 1 tsp Sea Salt to taste
- .5 tsp Ground Black Pepper omit pepper for strict AIP
Instructions:
- Melt the coconut oil or butter in a large skillet, add the garlic, and stir it into the oil.
- Toss the asparagus in and stir around to coat the stalks.
- Cover and cook for 5–10 minutes or until they are just al dente with a teeny bit of crunch left.
