Slow Cooker Chicken Tikka Masala
Ingredients:
- 1.5 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs diced
- .5 c Onions diced
- 4 cloves Garlic minced or pressed
- 2 tbsp Fresh Ginger finely minced
- 14.5 oz Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 c Plain Yogurt
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Garam Masala
- 1 tbsp Cumin ground
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Sea Salt
- .5 tsp Cinnamon ground
- .5 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Jalapenos finely diced
- .5 c Heavy Cream
Instructions:
- Mix all ingredients except chicken and heavy cream.
- Pour half the curry mixture on the bottom of the slow cooker, add the diced chicken, and pour the remaining curry mixture on top. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- In the 20-30 minutes before serving add heavy cream and stir in. If the curry is too spicy add more heavy cream. Serve over rice, cauliflower, or another starch of your choice.
