Slow Cooker Spicy Shredded Beef
Ingredients:
- 2.5 lb Boneless chuck roast trimmed
- 14.5 oz Diced Tomatoes 1 can, undrained
- 4 oz Jalapenos 1 can, drained
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Sea Salt
- 1 tsp Cumin ground
- 2 c Beef Broth
Instructions:
- Place beef in slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on high for 1 hour, then reduce to low, and cook an additional 4 hours. If desired, remove lid during last 30 minutes to allow sauce to reduce and thicken.
- With a heavy fork, transfer meat to a rimmed board or plate then shred with two forks. Return shredded beef to the remaining sauce in slow cooker.
