In a small bowl, combine sage, marjoram, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
Place ground beef to a large bowl. Add seasoning mixture and gently combine, being careful not to overwork the beef.
Divide beef mixture into 12 to 16 portions. With clean hands, roll each portion into a ball and flatten to form a patty.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt a small amount of coconut oil, just enough to lightly cover bottom of skillet.
Cooking in batches, place patties in skillet and cook until meat is cooked through and edges are slightly crispy with an internal temperature of 160 degrees F, approximately 5 minutes each side.
Remove from skillet and continue to cook remaining patties. Serve with your favorite side dish.
Notes
If you ground beef is very lean you may need to add a small amount of fat to the pan just before adding the patties.Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat in a 350F oven for about 10 minutes.
