Zucchini Hamburger Skillet

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 tbsp Butter ghee, tallow, lard, or coconut oil
  • 1 c Onions 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 stalks Celery chopped
  • 32 oz Whole Peeled Tomatoes 1 can
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Basil chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic Salt can increase or decrease to taste
  • .5 tsp Ground Black Pepper can increase or decrease to taste
  • 2 c Zucchini chopped

Instructions:

  • In a large skillet, over medium heat, brown ground beef.
  • Add fat, onions, and celery and cook lightly.
  • Add tomatoes with juice, chopping coarsely large chunks with your spoon, season with garlic salt and pepper, and simmer over low for about 15 minutes.
  • Just before serving, add zucchini and cook very lightly. Serve with basil garnish.
