Zucchini Hamburger Skillet
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 tbsp Butter ghee, tallow, lard, or coconut oil
- 1 c Onions 1 onion, chopped
- 1 stalks Celery chopped
- 32 oz Whole Peeled Tomatoes 1 can
- 1 tbsp Fresh Basil chopped
- 1 tsp Garlic Salt can increase or decrease to taste
- .5 tsp Ground Black Pepper can increase or decrease to taste
- 2 c Zucchini chopped
Instructions:
- In a large skillet, over medium heat, brown ground beef.
- Add fat, onions, and celery and cook lightly.
- Add tomatoes with juice, chopping coarsely large chunks with your spoon, season with garlic salt and pepper, and simmer over low for about 15 minutes.
- Just before serving, add zucchini and cook very lightly. Serve with basil garnish.
