Green Beans and Bacon
Ingredients:
- 12 oz Green Beans fresh, cleaned
- .125 lb Bacon diced
- 1 Shallots diced
- 3 Mushrooms diced
- 0.50 c Chicken Broth
- 0.25 tsp Sea Salt
- 0.25 tsp Ground Black Pepper Omit for strict AIP
- 1.5 tsp Fresh Thyme
Instructions:
- Wash and clean the green beans and set aside.
- Dice the bacon, shallot, and mushrooms and add them to a pan over medium heat and cook until everything is browned, about 8 minutes.
- Add in the green beans, broth, salt, pepper, and thyme and stir well.
- Cover with a lid and let steam for 8–10 minutes or until the most of the broth is gone.
