Grass-Fed Beef Meatloaf
Ingredients:
- 2 lb Ground Beef you could also use ground pork, chicken, turkey, or bison (or a combination of any)
- 1 c Onions 1 onion, diced
- 3 Eggs
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Onion Powder
- 1.5 tsp Sea Salt
- 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 c Gluten-Free Bread Crumbs or use gluten-free cracker crumbs
- .5 c Ketchup for glaze
- .5 c Yellow Mustard for glaze
- .25 c Worcestershire Sauce for glaze
- .25 c Hot Sauce for glaze, use your favorite brand, or if you want to leave this out, add more ketchup and mustard
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, combine the meat, onions, eggs, and seasonings.
- Using a fork (or your hands), gently combine.
- Add the bread crumbs and stir until the crumbs are distributed evenly.
- For one large loaf, pour ingredients on a sheet pan and shape into a loaf; it will be about the size of a loaf of bread.
- If you want to cook in a loaf pan, make sure you oil the pan with a little coconut oil and then pack evenly into the pan.
- You can also make mini loafs by using smaller loaf pans; this method is perfect for freezing individual loafs for quick dinners.
- Whisk the ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce together and pour over the top of the loaf(s).
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Remove from the oven and let stand about 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve with your choice of side.
