Instant Pot Spicy Honey Garlic Chicken
Ingredients:
- .5 tsp Garlic Powder
- .5 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- .75 c Coconut Aminos Or Tamari
- .75 c Ketchup
- .75 c Honey
- 3 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
- 1 tbsp Fresh Basil chopped
- .25 c Green Onions chopped (optional)
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Water
Instructions:
- Add garlic powder, crushed red pepper flakes, coconut aminos or tamari, ketchup, and honey to Instant Pot. Stir to combine.
- Add chicken to the pot. Cover pot and lock lid in place.
- Select HIGH PRESSURE and 9 minutes cook time. (It will take about 10 minutes to reach high pressure.)
- Chop the fresh basil and green onions. Set aside.
- After 9 minutes cook time, turn off pressure cooker and use a quick pressure release.
- In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in 2 tablespoons water. Add cornstarch mixture to the sauce in the pot stirring constantly. Select SAUTE and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- After sauce thickens, add fresh basil to the sauce and serve over rice. Garnish with green onions.
